Question about poo behavior.

My dragon has always done this sense I got him in august, right after (or even during!) A poo whether it be a big or small one he will plant his butt against the ground and rub it across the floor like a dog. Is funny as all heck but is it normal? Anyone else have funny dragon poop stories?

Well, some do that more than others. :roll:
They do have the tendency to try & get their hineys clean in some form or fashion. You could try using some wet ones to start wiping him down with, to try & train him to not do that.

Regardless of how much my boys try to stay clean, they always end up with poop on the undersides of their tails (Im assuming from dragging their hind ends in it to clean off.

Falkor, however, is very particular about how he poops now. Since our run in with an infection a few months ago, and the loss of his bone mass (he has no bone left in his left foot, so walks with a little limp) he has to get into a "position" to poop. He very carefully props himself up on one of his tank furnishings so his front legs hold his weight up... he spreads his back legs out and then just poops. Hell usually drag himself onto the skull and slide down the other end... Im assuming to avoid getting covered in his own feces duenti his lack of mobility. Its actually quite funny to watch, and very clever of him, if you ask me. ?

Oh no I don't plan on training him to stop it's hilarious! But was just checking if it was something a little more urgent.

Are fumes from wet ones dangerous? Assuming so, how/how long should these be aired out?
