Ok, so long story short my brother's roommate went out and paid $500 for a pair of bearded dragons, he is moving out of the country and of course can't travel them. He is leaving them behind and I have agreed to take them in. it is a male and female who have been living together. He thinks the female is gravid and lives 45 minutes from my house. I am planning on traveling them in soft sided dog carriers to my house but was wondering if I need to be careful of anything when handling. I don't want to rupture the eggs if she is gravid. I am already getting all my supplementation ready and since I am not sure when she was bred I am getting the incubator and laybox ready. I am planning on using sand and vermiculite mixture for the laybox, what do people use as medium in the incubator boxes as I am new to all this and was not ever planning on breeding. Should I supplement her with reptiboost while she gets settled in her new home? or would It be ok just to keep with the mostly veggies and some crickets. Sorry for all the questions I just don't want anything to happen to this girl. having just lost two beardies in the last year.
