pvc vs abs reptile cages?

any info on which cages are ideal? heat resistant? better quality?

also any preference to an online dealer? im looking for a 4x2x2 but wouldn;'t mind the 36" X 20" X 17" that is on the dragons4 you website...im hoping they quote me for a decent price on one that is a bit wider like 24" wide

I have not seen an abs enclosure before...not sure how strong that would be, abs is pretty flimsy.

As a far as dealers go. I'm trying to decide between a few myself. Top runners for me are monstercages, boaphileplastics, and animal plastics. These would all have to custom purchases. Its hard to find an enclosure made with a beardie in mind (ventilation needs to be considered, basking/che /uvb fixtures need to be pre installed).

I'll keep watch on this thread. I need some opinions myself and I'd like to know what you go with. There aren't enough review threads on enclosures.

interesting.... i figure to get some sort of "box" with those dimensions, and then add the light fixtures, and vents myself... light fixtures are super cheap compared to what the dealer would charge, and vents are super cheap as well... i'll have to check out those websites..

i read good things about ABS plastics vs pvc.... one being heat isnt an issue in ABS (someone correct me if im wrong)
