The only recommended uvb lights are the repti sun 10 tube or arcadia 12%. everything else can and will cause eye issues.
Please seperate your dragons ASAP!youre not supposed to house more than one beardie in a tank.It can end fatal! Its is possible that the other Beardie scratched the sicks beardie eye and its now infected. Can you post a pic of the eye?
i see beardie's housed together all of the time..i never knew it was bad.and you wont be able to see it on the pic,she can actually open it for a while now but it just looks really glassy
The lights can affect them all differently. My Charlie lived under coils fot a while and was perfectly fine....until she was about six months old. Then the eye issues began. The ReptiSun made a huge difference.
Is his eye crusty or oozing at all? You can use sterile saline solution to wash the eye. You can also put raw unpasteurized honey on it, thinned with just a bit of warm water. But it can't be the honey from the grocery store. It needs to be raw and unpasteurized. People are very enthusiastic about the honey's healing properties.
