I'm just asking to see if there if anything besides crickets, roaches or hopping or fasting moving bugs that I can feed my dragon without fear of causing impaction. It would hopefully be his fulltime protein food.

I am hoping for some kind of worms perhaps? If not possible, though, I will do the crickets of course.

My dragon is an adult (17" long) and I plan on giving him daily salad.

Thanks.

Horn worms and silk worms are both good stables, I think. I know that your dragon is big enough for giant meal worms, not the regular .

At 17 inches long and being an adult, you've got a lot of options as far as live feeders go. Silkworms and hornworms are great staples, and your guy is also large enough for superworms (introduce them slowly so he has time to adjust to them). There are also phenonix worms and butter worms. Avoid wax worms because these are fatty and like dragon junk food (okay for an occassional treat but not a staple).

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
