Prickly Pear Cactus Pads

I got my prickly pear cactus pads in the mail today! I ordered them from Amazon. I planted half in organic cactus soil, and I'm going to cut up one to feed Bowser this week with his other greens. I think I might give away a some to a couple of my students who have bearded dragons at home. Prickly pear is a staple correct?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
