Feeding is important, and lighting and temperatures are critical. If you have been doing research you are ahead of the game. Most beardies eat crickets and fresh vegies, feeder worms, some are good some not so good. There are feeding lists on the Caresheet section on top of this page. Check them out for the good vegies. Make sure you are ready to handle the lighting and temp part of their care too, very critical for digestion and a healthy beardie.
Welcome to the wonderful world of beardies! Ask any question we are here for you.

I feed Boga after the light has been on in the morning about an hour, then in the afternoon try to get her to eat some more. Boga is 4 so she doesn't always eat every day but I still offer fresh veggies every day. Live feeders, crickets, she gets about 30 a week. Always try to feed awhile before the light goes out also so they have time to digest. Heat helps them digest. Don't forget the vitamins and calcium!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
