possible contamination from rat poison?

Hi all

i know this will make me sound like a crazy person but i can assure you iam not , i think :? lol

my gf's grandad asked me if i could help him clear out his 3 sheds/ workshops this week, he's a good guy and over the years has helped me alot with my motorbikes so of course i said yes anyway during the course of clearing out and cleaning up the sheds i noticed this blue powder and blue/darkgreen coated seeds spead around the sheds in various locations and asked him what it was he said mouse/rat poision. so with everything out of the sheds and me sweeping the floors ( dont think they have ever been swept up before) i realised that more likely than not some of the dust/crap that was spread all over the floors was now floating around in the sheds as it dous if you sweep/brush up in an enclosed area could be the rat poison, my worry is that if particles/pieces of the rat poison powder would most probably be on my clothing and im now worrying that possibly some of these particles would have been brought home with me on my clothing and could potentially poision my beardy. im assuming that rat poision is also dangerous to other small animals?

am i worrying to much ?

I think you are worrying too much. While rat poison is harmful to any animal, it will take more then some dust particles to hurt your pets. If you are still worried, then give your carpets a good vacuuming and make sure the clothes you had on have been washed.

possibly i do worry to much, just dont want anything to happen to my bd i love him so much, it has been making me feel sick thinking that it could posion him
