I know that when some beardies go into burmation they tend to go into a deep sleep or nap on and off, but my beardie, Charles might be doing it differently. He is approximately 4-5 years old as told by a previous owner. He is 270 grams and 13 1/4" long snout to tail tip. He is housed in an enclosure that is 48"X12.5"X21" I believe with a basking spot of about 98 degrees and had two compact UVB reptisun bulbs in addition. Up until about a week ago he was acting pretty normal with regular pooping and eating habits but this past week he has been acting odd. He is really lethargic and generally just sits in one spot for most of the day which is under the logs in which make up his backing spot. I'm not sure whether he is beginning to burmate but he is still eating fine and eating mealworms and collard greens at the moment, as I ran out of supers and crickets. He is still eating them easily but he just isn't showing any signs of energy generally.
So do you think it is a beginning sign of burmation or is there something wrong with him I should be concerned about?
Here is a picture incase you wanted to see.
Also he is really sensitive about shedding his skin in between his back legs but there is skin just hanging there and he wont let me help try and get it off. Its been there for about two days so should I just leave it?
