I know it's been awhile since anyone posted anything in here, but I read the first comment and now I'm worried about the leash issue. I got one for Hugo, he's just a year now, because I like to take him outside to sun, but sometimes he will suddenly bolt and once I almost lost him. But it seems like he doesnt like he little harness, does he just need to get used to it? What are peoples opinions and thoughts on the leashes? Also sometimes when we are outside he find little bugs and eats them, is there a high chance of him eating one thats bad for him? I live in Oregon on the coast if that makes a difference. And if anyone finds my post "sad" or "pointless" then you shouldn't have wasted your own time reading it and I don't consider it my problem. As far as I understand this site is for people who are excited about their bearded dragons and want to learn more to give them the best care possible. It is completely inconsiderate and pointless to belittle anyones comment no matter how trivial you find their topic to be. But if anyone has thoughts or experiences to share that are helpful, I would love to hear them :)

Welcome, HUGOS. A bit of advice before you get in trouble.

1- As stated before, Leashes are for dogs, LEESES are for dragons. Put the leese on for a little while everyday, lengthening the amount of time he has the leese on each day. Eventually, he'll realise that he has more freedom when he wears his leese, than when he's going "commando".

2- This is a pointless and sad thread, therefore you must include these words at some point in your post.

3- Most importantly... YOU MUST POST PICTURES OF YOUR BEARDIE!!!

Don't worry about it. We all have done it at one point or another. The fun part of this post is turning his "attitude" back on him. We enjoy this thread because we post a lot of pointless posts regarding things he thinks are pointless so we can enjoy them.

I know it's all pointless and sad, but I've been taking Yoda outside on warm sunny days, and he loves it. Bit timid, but okay with a familiar hand or shoulder to scramble back to. Anyway, the lilacs are in bloom, and since they are my favorite flower, Yoda humored me with a pose (and I photoshopped my hand out). :)

MY pointless post for today is: I've been at my Dad's since Saturday (Friday for Americans) And I've been having a great time. I was scared at first because Mojo has been a touch dehydrated but A mod in feeding helped that take the worry out of me and I can enjoy the Rest of the day without worrying about Mojo. We've been playing golf and had to get up at 4am each day  But other then that I've had a great time. We are going back to golf soon so I thought I'd check BD.org in my spare time.

Hi Hugos!
Any wild bug can be dangerous for a beardie if it has been around pesticides. Lightning bugs are DEADLY, even with no pesticides. So at whatever cost, do not let the beardie eat a lightning bug.

Prisma, that is a beautiful picture!

End of my pointless post for today! Night Night!

Ok, I lied, I didnt want to feel left out, so I am going to post a sad picture!
Sadly, Foster has taken over my Skechers!!

Thanks, all. :)
U should submit that to some type of photo contest.
Oh! That reminds me... our local animal shelter is having a pet photo contest for their calendar. I hope I'm not too late! I think I'll do it!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
