Bane pointless decided to grace us with her presence last night! She's been doing this semi-brumation thing all summer. It has been sleep for a few days, get up and eat a little, then back to napping for a few days. But this last run she sleep for like 2 weeks. I'm terrible with time. I forgot to buy greens the previous night, and I only had enough left for one dragon. So I gave it all to Astarte figuring Bane wouldn't wake up for it anyways. I think she got up to teach me a lesson. I think she actually got fatter despite not eating for like 2+ weeks.

And zomg, my kitten has become obsessed with eating food not meant for her. I just feed her, and 3 times in the last 5 minutes I've had to chase her away from eating the wilted greens in the trash! Every time she gets into people (or dragon) food, she throws up, you'd think she'd learn her lesson by now.

Just sadly noticed that no one has posted on this in a while so I thought I would say something pointless..............can't think of anything.....oh yeah, thinking of getting a beagle/Labrador mix, she's one year old and a rescue, sent an email to the rescue place to see what's what as they say on their page they do not do phone calls. Hubby has been bugging for a dog for quite a while but the ones he wants are $$$$$.

Some ppl just like to talk smack. Weather it b because there bored n have no life or making up for a very small body part , maybe a neighbours or an uncle touched them in the wrong way . Either way some pole just need to stir others up. If it wasn't for this site n the ppl who r on it a lot of beardies wouldn't b living to their full potential

The original troll started something quite wonderful. His remarks have been dumped on my alot of beardies & slaves. I don't put clothes on my beardies, but I have hats & other small things to dress them up for Christmas photos.

Sadly my Rubio, my baby, he's 3, has taken up residence in his hide. He peeks out sometimes but this is his 2nd day there, so I think the sleepy mode is starting to affect hin.

Sweetie fell & broke the upper bones in her from arms. She's in a tank that is so different, all her furniture is out & she sadly has a thick soft towel in the bottom, with other towels and blankies to lie on. I've asked her not to move more than she has to. She goes back to the vet on Nov 5, to see how her bones are nkitting. So Sweetie pointlessly tries to move around, she sadly has to wriggle her shoulders to get anywhere & she gets very tired. Poor Sweetie, she'll pointlessly get lots of attention this morning.

Oh that's just too sad and pointless! Rescue dogs are the best! Are you going to go over and see him? Sounds like a nice mix too. Let us know.

Oh Deb, that REALLY is sad about Sweetie. My goodness, what a bummer. Yes, I truly hope her bones are knitting correctly. It's pointless to remark on Rubio but ugh! I'm not looking forward to experiencing that. I bet a lot of people get babies when their adult dragons are brumating.

I'm glad everyone has snapped out of it in my house. I think you could be on to something there, Suzanne-the more beardies we have, the more likely it is that one of them will be awake!!!

Yep, that's what I was thinking! Trying real hard to be pointless and sad here but thinking about another beardie in the house is so just the opposite! It's hard to stick with the pointless and sad theme so I will close with the thought that I am going to vacuum today, and believe me when I say that is a pointless and sad thought what with two molting parrots in the living room. :shock: But not doing it is even sadder.

Oscar is pointlessly being a bug muncher and sadly refuses all salad. I buy a container of prewashed roquette (labeled kosher appropriate) and pointlessly end up feeding 3/4 of it to the rabbit, who sadly accepts it. I now go through 50 supers in less than a week. That's 5 in the morning and 4 at night.

The mods will jump in there and take care of everything but, it is saturday morning and maybe they are having a bit of a sleep-in. I hope so. Wish I had but with two sad and pointless little dogs that needed to wee wee, sleeping in is just a sad and pointless fantasy
