Dawn, that's funny. Not that I have a say, but I'd vote for Australia. You can go and take lots of pics of the wild beardies and their scenery. I'd like to go there someday but I don't think it'll happen.

Dawn, what a poor, pathetic beardie! Oh well, if you have trouble deciding where to go, now you know you have some help. Just put a map as her substrate and see where the poop lands!

I pointlessly spent all morning washing clothes and now my white kitty is sadly playing in the clean laundry. :x

If there was ever a case of thread hijacking...
LOL, it's true. I think the junk in this thread spans over every topic in the forum. Gee, I hope the Troll doesn't complain to the mods. :p

I have been pointlessly subscribed to this thread since page 10 and now sadly I am only getting notices every 5 pages or so. Sadly I am missing all the fun. :( I have missed lots of Z-n-w posts too. Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?
You know what Sandy this is happening to me too....an I'm subscribed. :? And the threads that it is happening most with is Pointless and Sad, Z&W, Campbell Jane, You now your living with beardies when....but why I can't tell you. I'm just glad that the last time this happened Alex decided to add the stickies when there's a new post in a thread theres the little sticky infront of it. So even if you don't get notification you should still find out if there have been new post by looking for the sticky when you veiw your post.

Hi Dawn!,

like Rex, I would pointlessly and sadly like to spend some time in Australia, doing a little family research and seeing the beardie homeland, but, pointlessly and very sadly, I couldn't take my babies with me, as they pointlessly and sadly discriminate against foreign-born beardies, even though I know they must also have cousins by the dozens, hundreds, thousands there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great idea, dolcemer....the only problem is she only goes in the shower. I guess I could put a laminated map on the shower floor!

Well...I guess I could sneak her into another country. Heck, she can go in Aaron's carry-on...they'll scan it and think she is a rubber toy!

Cousins by the dozens....I like that...it's pretty catchy. Yeah.....I don't know how she'd feel about all those other beardies running wild and head bobbing her. It might scare her! Heck...she got all freaked out when she found out Crash rubbed himself all over her blankie while his momma was making it. She's very sensitive, poor thing!
(Sorry Dawn #2.....I know you get very defensive about Crash's man bits and all, but the story would have leaked out eventually)

Awww-Poor Rex, sadly thinking she would be comming too. I agree put her in a caryon or wear her as a broach. Ooooo-I know carry a remote control and say she's a RC dragon! :laughhard:

Daniel (age 4) just caught a small toad in the garden and pointlessly brought it inside to show me. Sadly it escaped in the house! Your laugh for the day? Picture a rather plump Mamma and 2 children chasing down a poor frightened little toad in the house. Toady was eventually "rescued" and returned to the wild. Yes, summer is here. I hope he doesn't find any black and white striped "kitties" and bring them inside to show me.
When I was 3 I brought one to my grandma. Have you ever had a tomato juice bath? I have. :laughhard:

I just sadly noticed that my dragons have had another growth spurt. So, I pointlessly measured them :) At just over 4.5 months old, Ponce is 12.25 inches and Feliz is 13 inches. I think the phoenix worms have made a big difference in their growth!

Dawn, if you do get a remote for Rex, don't forget to add a "poo" button.

Good one!!!!

I should probably add a snooze button, bask button and let's not forget the nom button!

Well sadly, our Sweetie (who just turned 3 yrs old Apr 1) just laid another clutch of infertile eggs, her 6th clutch since last April  . I do keep telling her to stop doing that, pointless I know, but I can sadlly only try. She was huge this time, topped 555 grams when I weighed her last week, she's lost 100g since she laid them, we think she may have more. Sadly she drives us crazy when she's carrying eggs, she pointlessly spends all her time trying to connect with either of our two males (who are safely put in their tanks when Sweetie's on the roam). So we're done for another few weeks, I'm sure she's be pointlessly expanding again. We can't let her breed, as I sadly couldn't destroy eggs that are fertilized and we don't have the room or $ to raise babies (even though I would love every minute, sadly I still have to work full time, I hardly have time for morning baths!).

Rubio has grown again, he's 17 1/2" long (not including tail nip) and 395g at 7mo. This is sadly the little guy who we almost lost twice when he was 2 & 3 mo old. It's pointlessly amazing how he's grown. He's shedding his head, so he now blackbeards under the gray shed, pointless indeed.

Dawn, I hope you pointlessly pick Australia and visit with the original beardies and the dozens upon dozens of cousins. Wouldn't that be sadly fun?

I can see the visual of the toad hunt and chase...thanks that is my laugh for the day.

I brought home one of those striped kitties when I was 4....it was no bigger than a small rat....we actually lived in the country so we kept it as a pet...though it lived outside...but I got lucky it never sprayed me.
No tomato juice baths here!

Here are a few pic donations for this wonderful Pointless and Sad thread.......

Beefy Pointlessly got tired waiting for his friend to come out and sit in the bdrm window with him.
DSC02468.jpg

And....here's his friend Sadly avoiding him in her hide.(Itty Bitty of course)
DSC01529.jpg

Now her avoiding him is appearantly quite pointless and sad because Beefy's nap was so long that she got tired of waiting for him to wake up when she finally did give in......that she decided to take a nap while she waited.

An I pointlessly lost track of PVT Blaze a couple of days ago....an sadly as usually slightly paniced
only to find him here.
DSC02483.jpg

Yes if your Sadly wondering...Itty Bitty and PVT Blaze are my 2 escapees. PVT Blaze just wants to sit in the window doesn't want down on the floor. Itty Bitty on the other hand doesn't know she is a beardie...she thinks she is a puppy. She let's herself out and back in whenever she wants. However I can always hear when either of them climbs out so I know to check on them and watch em.

WoW! Deborah! Rubio is really growing.....
Bender now 7 months is still MICRO. Bender got to go for his first ride this last weekend in the carrier of course he is still sooooo small. (Little Zoom Zoom )

:blob8: :blob5: Bender is wonderful just the way he is. Sadly, I've never seen a cuter beardie, so what if he's a bit smaller than the norm, pointlessly, who cares :D :D Where Rubio is sadly getting all this growing stuff we don't know, he started pointlessly really growing 2 mo ago at 5 mo old when he started to black beard, so maybe his hormoles helped things along, we figured he'd be sadly tiny; you just never know with beardies, worlds greatest mysteries   . Issy was still 1" smaller snout to vent than everyone else, but she's 1" longer now, I'll have to re-measure everyone snout to vent to see if there are any differences. Sadly we're also starting to wonder if Angel is a male, not a female. Pointlessly, it's very hard to tell, she's always a bit swollen there. Even looking under her tail, you sadly can't really tell. Once we get her to the vet (which will be soon); we'll pointlessly know for sure. :blob5: :blob8: :blob5:

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
