Thank you, I hadnt heard of that before but when I get a call about the bloodwork I will definatly discuss it with him. Hopefully its not a US only product.

Unfortunatly I couldnt get the bulb. My father was diagnosed with cancer so I stopped working to spend more time with the family in between university, which means I have no disposable income at the moment as that last vet bill was £120 and Im sure she will need more treatment.
It kills me that Im not getting her the best bulb, but at this stage I need to pay the vets bills first.

Ive called the vets and the receptionist wouldnt give me the blood results herself and has said the vet will be calling me shortly.

Unfortunatly it was after the fourth time that Id rung the vets that the girl finally told me that she was wrong and that blood results dont come until tomorrow.
Deep. Breaths.

Hey - how is your beardie doing? Hope there is improvement?

I notice from reading the thread something which I turned up a while ago via this site - the retail of the realsun MVB in Hull - is that what you are still using? Do you live in Hull/surrounding area?
The reason I ask is if so, which vets are you using? As I live in Hull (UK) and have a beardie tale or two myself, and have learnt a lot in the process if I can be of any local support!!!!

Please let us know what the bloods show.

Oh my goodness. I live in the centre of Hull. What a small small world.

Im using the exotics specialist at Swanbridge vetinary practice (located in between Hessle and Swanland).
Id really recommend them. They do seem to know what they are talking about.

I actually work in the centre of Hull at Hull College.
I use Swanbridge too - they are definitely the best around here, so you are in good hands. However, the advice from many people on this forum is invaluable.

As for the Reaslun MVB, from what I understand, they are not at all good. I use a 100W megaray but am struggling to find one at a reasonable price at the moment in the UK. Rachelreptiles website used to have them at £40 inc. p&p, but they haven't had any in ages. I will keep a look out and if I spot any at a reasoable price - I will let you know.

If you need any more advice about any more local people to speak to/what local supplier I have found to be better than others - let me know.

sorry i have to disagree with you. this forum provide's nothing but valuable information. there have been many people given wrong information and thank goodness they found their way here and in some cases it was to late for the beardie. I cant comment on the light thing i do not have knowledge in that area, but i would take advice from any member on here as to which light works best. I dont post much here but im here everyday searching for valuable information that can better help me care for my dragons. i was a tad insulted by that comment. but everyone is intitled to their opinion.
