it has to be something related to your enclosure and setup.
can you post a picture so we can see what the prob might be for your dragon.
What are you trying to feed him normally?

supers and butters are no good mate.
Use small-medium crickets. You can also use small woodies. I would use nothing else.
Avoid baby food unless you have tried all other reptile food

If she is not eating at all, you need to get some food into her until you get her to the vet. Chicken and squash baby food is the best to try, you can mix the two together. Use a plastic dropper or syringe (without the needle) to drop a little on her nose, she should lick it off. I have a dragon that will not eat or lick the food off her nose, so I put a little into the side of her mouth and she eats it that way. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Is there any way you can post a picture ? If not, what is his length and weight ? Not everyone knows what a fat beardie and a skinny beardie really look like if you've never owned one before. Remember that the fall/ winter months, almost all adult+sub-adult dragons become lethargic, it's their normal reaction to the change of season. He may be fine, but your vet will give you more insight. As far as superworms, they are fine as a staple, I've used them for many years....butterworms are fatty, and it's true that crickets would be the way to go, but if he's used to them I would let him have a few a week, especially if his weight is low, but supers are fine.

the vet gave him a shot for worms when we were there and gave me panacur & metronidazole to give at home along with the repti aide. he's actually gained weight up to a pound now. last time i measured he was 22 inches will be 2 yrs old at the end of july. i still havent seen no improvement, but we go back again next week. still wont eat anything & hasnt for a very long time. and doesnt shed. ive just been giving baths daily trying to feed baby food and still giving greens and worms eventhough he doesnt eat anything. so lets hope this medicine helps! would someone explain to me what mbd is... ive heard a little bit about it, but im just wanting to know more...

I hope that once the meds. do their job that he'll feel better and start eating. His weight is not too bad for the length, considering that he's not been eating. MBD is when the bones don't form properly because of lack of calcium [ sometimes from too low temps in combination with lack of cal., D3 and UVB ] The dragon may develop a soft jaw, or you may see a lump on it's back, wavy tail, limb deformities, unable to get around, etc. An underbite can occur with a less severe case.

thanks for all the help... i really love this site lol!! im hoping the meds will kick in & he'll be fine.. im having a hard time giving them to him cuz he wont open his mouth so i usually try to get him to lick it off his nose or put the syring in the side of his mouth. i was surprised to find out he gained weight since hes not been eating for weeks & weeks but im happy he did!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
