Hi all, sorry if this is in the wrong place, wasn't sure where to post.
So I had my baby beardie outside with me in our screened in pool/patio area while my husband took a dip in the pool. We live in Florida and have tons of lizards everywhere. So when I took him out, I saw a couple lizards on part of the screen, they were on the other side. Except there was one teeny, tiny baby lizard on our side. I had my baby in my hand and my hand close to the baby lizard, to show him the lizards, and what does he do? GOBBLES the baby lizard! In one swift nom. I tried to get it out of his mouth but wasn't fast enough, only got part of the tail.
So now I'm worried sick, and my husband thinks it's hilarious.
Please, please someone tell me he's not going to die. He's only a baby, just got to 7 inches and 14-15 grams. He is fed very well, we give him salad and as many crickets and phoenix worms as he wants, so it's not like he's starving.
