Please help! Two year old beardie not feeling good..

Hi everyone.....the past few days my little guy hasnt been himself...especially right now when i just got in from work! he is hiding in the corner of his tank, and his color is dark. i took him out and he immediately lightened up and seemed happier but just limply fell asleep laying on me. last week he started pooping pretty much only liquid. it didnt smell normal either. so i brought a fecal to the vet- TWO samples just to be sure- and everything was negative. they gave me panacur suspension just in case. ever since this started he has seemed lethargic and not himself.
i know my set up is correct. ive had him almost two years now and for the most part, hes been healthy (had parasites one time before).
He is in a 75 gallon tank. papertowel substrate. I have a reptisun 10.0 tube light, goes across most of the tank. 150watt basking bulb, keeps hot side between 100 and 105, cool side around 85. i measure temps with acurite digital/probe. i feed him superworms/crickets two or three times a week. daily i give him greens- mustard, turnip, collard. and every other day i mix in pepper, apple, squash, or occasionally strawberry. i dust food with pure calcium a few times a week.
ANY IDEA what could possibly be causing this?? if its not parasites? Please help im getting so worried about my little guy...im not used to seeing him like this

Well, I'm not sure if it matters that you took him old stool, maybe that's why it came up negative, maybe the stool needs to be fresh to get a positive reading on parasites?

not brumation i dont think, brumation is different, my beardie is doing similar things, im strongly thinking it is parasites

Hello,

Do you know whether or not they did a fecal smear or a fecal float? How old were the stool samples that you took in? They should ideally be less than 12 hours old, & be stored in the refrigerator until it can be analyzed.
Is he losing weight?
How old is the UVB light?
Is his beard black during the daytime? I would like to see a few pictures of him, just to assess his overall physical appearance if you can post some. Thanks.

Im not sure what kind of fecal they did. but i brought it in like 3 hours after he went so it was fresh. that was the 3rd fecal test i have had done in the last 4 weeks. and all kept coming back negative. uvb light is new, only 2 months old. his beard is never black, hes usually happy as can be, and even though hes acting differently he still has a huge appetite- he eats all of his meals and has not lost any weight. how do i post pictures? thanks for the responses

Hello,

Thanks for the picture. He looks good, overall.
I believe that he is most likely going into or is already in partial brumation. Is this his first brumation phase with you?
Since he is not losing weight he sounds to be very healthy.

thank you for your help...so its normal, during brumation for them to pretty much only poop liquid? its just odd since otherwise he is active and eating well. he seemed lethargic for a few days, when i first posted this- now he is acting like himself, but still the same problem with going to the bathroom! he makes a really bad mess everytime.... thanks again
