I'm soo sorry Spike died. I know how you hurt as we've lost them before, just not quite soo young. I suggest, if you decide to try again, get one a little older. If Barbara (fresnowitte) has any babies left, her's would be really healthy. I hope to get one of her new babies this summer.

Remember there is nothing that you and your son DID NOT try to do to make Spike Better. You were given a bad one to start with. Get one from TOM when you are both ready. You were an awesome beardie slave for the time you had him--you were given a sick beardie from the start (as well as WAY too young) . You did EVERYTHING you could have done for him

RIP Spike, you're at the Rainbow Bridge now, back in health. Puff and Ash and Pipsqueak and Jasper and Campbell Jane and so many other beardies that we all loved are there to play with.

Oh Jane and Frankie, I'm so sorry about Spike, I was so hoping he would get better. I think he was just too frail from the original meds. He loved you guys so much, that was his will to live. You did absolutely everything you could possibly do to make him better. He'll be in your hearts forever and ours, we'll never forget the awesome fighting you all did to help him.

It's going to take awhile to grieve, but I've found with other members that when a beardie goes to Rainbow Bridge, he keeps his eye on you and, when it's time, he'll send you another beardie to look after. Sandi, Jasper's Mom, lost Jasper awhile back, not long after she found Campbell Jane and gave her a year of love that Campbell Jane had never had before. Now Sandi had 3 other beardies that were sent her way. Beardies take care of you, all the time. We had a little one, we named her Pipsqueak and we did everything we could. She's in Rainbow Heaven and not long after we found Issy and Rubio.

My heart is with you, email me if you want, know that Spike fought a valiant fight and while doing so knew how much you and Frankie just loved him. Remember that, contact me anytime.

I;m so sorry to hear about little spike... I was really hoping he was going to pull through. I havent posted much but have been following this thread. Just remember you gave him all the love he could ever have wished for in the short time that he was with you!!

I believe this too.... our Abu sent us Phoebe when we were read and just in time too... if it hadnt been for Phoebe coming along when she did, I dont know that Kazi would have shown us how sick he was!! I just hope that he continues getting better! Its hard when they are sick, its hard not knowing what to do for the best but you did all you could for Spike, many people would not have tried even half as hard as you did!

aw Jane, I am so sorry. You fought so hard for little Spike, and he knew how much he is loved, and that is what kept him going for as long as he did. Your love gave him the will to fight!! Just know that you did everything you possibly could to help him. I know that Ash and Puff and all of our other beardie friends were waiting at Rainbow Bridge to welcome him when he got there, and little Spike is watching over you all right now, and he is healthy and whole. He already has another beardie picked out for you, and when the time is right, he will bring you and that beardie together!!

I am sooooo sorry to hear about Spike I can feel your pain I had to put my first beardie Gizmo to sleep he developed a very aggressive type of cancer. It is very paonful but you did nothing wrong!!

Guys, thank u so much for all the luv n support u give to us. We never would have been able to help Spike at all without u guys. I miss my little wonder terribly which I know u understand. I never could have imagined the effect one little 4g miracle would have on our lives. My heart aches from missing him but I know he is thriving now.

The hardest part is that he was alone when he passed. I wish I could have held him n told him how much we love him. Spike opened our hearts n minds to a wonderful world of beardies of which I never would have thought possible until I welcomed Spike into our family.

So, I have an appointment to look at TND Dragons tomorrow morning! The crazy snow is coming tomorrow night and I can't bear the thought of our viv being empty thru the snowstorm! Wish us luck and I know Spike will help us choose a new lovebug.
