I woke up at 4 am to the sound of my Rosie throwing up. She is three and she has never thrown up before. I held her for an hour while her breathing was shallow. She never fully woke back up. This morning she is limp, her beard is black, and she is only opening her mouth once in a while. She took a few drops of water, but then stopped.
We have heat on her and we are holding her, but I think she is leaving us. I don't know what to do.
Rosie is three years old, very active, the smartest of our three, house broken, and so beautiful.
She has all the right lighting, the right food, meticulous care, UVB, goes outside to sit in the sun, and I never thought she would leave us like this so suddenly.
I am so heartbroken. What could have happened? When the threw up at 4 am, it was bloody.
Please help. This really hurts.
