Randi that looked really bad but you did an excellent job cleaning it and looks like it's healing pretty well. He's doing very well for going through this, and at 15 years old, wow ! Baby food would be great for him under normal circumstances, but it might cause more runny poo. As long as his leg wrapping keeps the poo from getting in his wound it would be O.K.

Thank you so much for your re assurance!!! Phew. He just ate a couple Super worms again. I think I may get him some wax worms to give him some fat. That's the way I've always thought of them. It's that right?

If you don't think he's eating enough you might want to try some baby food green beans, instead of squash if he's having the runs, and chicken/turkey.

If he's willingly eating the worms, that's probably the best. I'd just keep offering the superworms, waxworms are O.K, better choices would be silk or hornworms but you might have to order them since most pet stores don't carry them. A little baby food is fine but stick to insects as much as you can.

Actually his poo was scary. There was a solid thing in it. It almost looked liked her pooped out part of his stomach or intestines.... I'm sure it must of been the worms, I hope. He probably didn't digest them very well because his body is busy getting better. I actually save it thinking it might be vet time but he's acting better than he was in there middle of the night.

I'm afraid my sweetie isn't improving anymore. I pray he is but there are a couple things I'm worried about. Around his eyes and nostrils...... And.....

His arm. I have been in denial I guess the last 24 hours thinking it's his regular coloring. My daughter said it looks like he doesn't have as many scales on the right arm.... I'm worried.

Wow why is his nails curling around like that? That poor dragon looks like it's been neglected. I hope you can get him cleaned up and back into better health. I would recommend a vet checkup.

His arm looks like it's just not shedding easily. At 15 years old his body functions are going to start slowing down and not bouncing back like when he was young. If you can ad Oxbow critical care [ from a vet or buy online ] to his diet it might be good. It's a high calorie nutritional supplement.

No. Definitely not neglected. For 15 years he's been well loved and taken care of. I was told when I first got him as a rescue that I couldn't cut his nails. I would of loved to!!

As far as that supplement, Thank you. I'll look into it.

The lady at the pet store scared me. She said fly larva can cause infection that can go to the blood. :? :|

This one is good and cheaper and there might be other stuff you might want to get too. And you can cut their nails just make sure not too short.

What would you say if I said it's not a shedding issue ? I could see where you would see that, but it's not.
My daughter and the pet store clerk hopefully just made me paranoid. The Black could be dying tissue (G-d forbid PLEASE!!!)
