I suggest feeding 2 meals per day up until around a year old or as their growth slows down. Then it's a gradual transition to 1 bug meal per day then a bug meal every few days as adults with daily salads all along.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
