Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. This is the month for the flu to visit everyone, unfortunately. Get lots of rest and hope you'll be in tip-top shape before Christmas.

Loved the pic of Elvis in the stocking! So cute!

I gave Elvis some crushed up cheerios in babyfood yesterday, because in health class we were reading about whole grains and it said that whole grains slow down tumor growth in humans. (see, I do pay attention! :wink: ) So I thought it wouldn't hurt to try that with Elvis! (and of course he didnt mind!)

thanks! the new total today from donations and my savings is 550! I'm going to book the surgery for february, becuase I think by then I'll have the 700, since christmas will be over I'll be able to save more!

I called his vet but shes on vacation until monday december 27th. I left her a voicemail and asked if the surgery could be monday february 21. Thats the first monday of my vacation, so then I can spend all week with him. Hopefully that will be available!

Hi,
Elvis is doing good. If he didnt have that big tumor sticking out of the side of his mouth, then I dont even think I would know he has cancer. (which is why I think and hope its just in that one area and hasnt spread) But yeah, he's eating, taking his baths, basking, sleeping, pooping, everything.

I'm just waiting now for the vet to call me back. I'll be in Kentucky on vacation (yeah, my mom has to watch Elvis while I'm gone :shock: ) but will have my ipod, laptop, and cell phone with me so will be able to update everyone.

Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!
I am on my way to Kentucky and miss Elvis and all my other babies very much. I gave my mom a test on Elvis that she had to fill out and she passed. Well got everything right, which is good.

We are preparing to drive right through this oh-so-wonderful snow storm tonight, yikes!

Well, I have a feeling that I will be on a lot this week. My aunt has wifi in the car so we have laptops and ipods and cell phones.

The vet returns from vacation tomorow and is supposed to call me. I'll keep everyone updated!

Hi guys,
Yes the surgery is scheduled for January 13th. I was puching for febuary 21st, but of course, the vet doing the surgery is on leave the whole month of January. I picked the 13th, because thats a thursday, I can pick him up friday after school, and then will have atleast a long weekend with him while he's recovering.
I will keep everybody updated and post pictures when I get back!
