Hello,

Great to hear that he finally pooped. Yes, it can be exciting can't it? :lol:
They do like to scratch around, & dig sometimes. However, right now, with him being so young, I don't recommend having a loose substrate.
What you could do is shred some paper & make a pile for him to dig around in right now, instead of using sand, etc to entertain him.

I hope he is doing much better now.

http://www.petmountain.com is a great site for cheap repti sun bulbs. You can find a bulb for about 20 bucks. Its a great deal since the retail pet places sell them if they have any is at least 50 bucks.

Hello Great that he is doing better. Don't pull on the shed area to help peel it. It will come off by itself and you could damage his new scales. Keeping him hydrated by bathing helps with the shed also.
