Planning out my light set up in my new Viv

Hi there-
I have a new viv for my dragon and have been doing all kinds of research on lighting...and frankly, and completely overwhelmed by the myriad choices.

I have the largest size Exo Terra, 36x18x24. Here is the light set up I am currently considering. It would be super helpful if folks could comment on my plan...Mega-Ray SB 100 watt Self-Ballasted Flood UVB Lamp, with a CHE for night heat. The a full spectrum fluorescent to brighten things up.

I'm trying to sketch it out visually first before I spend a bunch of money. Any help is appreciated.

I don't use the MegaRay myself, but I heard that if you use that, you won't need a separate UVB light. MegaRays provide both heat and UV.

Ohh OK.. I just saw that you're going to use a regular fluorescence tube, not a UVB one.
I think everything looks good by the way.

Actually that setup looks very good and is very similar to mine. Although use the T-Rex 100w MVB, but same idea.

For those of you using the MVB's do you find that you need supplemental heat to get things up to 100-105 in the basking site?

Here is another set up I was considering...only problem with this one is no nighttime heat source...could be an undertank heat matt though.
This one is more expensive and has the night heat issue but would look much cleaner (my viv is in my office)

Again any input appreciated.
