Lol I know what ya mean  Well, maybe give him a
bath everyday until he perks up. I had a water bowel in my beardies tank (big enough for him to sway around in the water) and when he was dehydrated he used it and loved it & it helped him toilet, however he only did that for a day so I took it out, also I found out that it can cause them respiratory problems because it creates humidity, so it's up to you as to whether you want to keep it in, but maybe best to take it out just in case
As for the feeding, I tried feeding him (putting crickets into his enclosure and greens) and he didn't care, he didn't even go after them! A lot of people say 'force feed' I say DONT, DONT, DONT!!! I have even heard a horror story of someone's beardie not eating, bloated etc and they force fed him & he died! If you think about it when were not well/have a bad tummy the last thing you'd want is to be force fed! If worst come to worse, pull the legs off the crickets and try them with that, they will eat if they want too. My beardie didn't eat for like 3 days, I couldn't make him eat either, I was just keeping him
hydrated by
bathing about 2/3 times a day if he'd have it, spraying him with water whilst he's in his enclosure, and I would spray him in so he'd go into his water bowel!
cause he was getting annoyed and wanted to get away lol.
I also brought some of the like repti-aid stuff which is like reptile engery drink thinking that would give him the kick he needed, however I didn't have too! I brought him some locusts after a few days and he LOVED it! he had worms and that too! and obv that gave him the energy he needed to start getting better. It did take all in all about a week to fully recover, and that wasn't without me panicking, but he is now on top form!
I give him water now by spraying him on the nose everyday, and he drinks it. I also
bathe him at 2/3 day intervals. It's strange your beardie isn't
drinking when it's put on his nose. What I would suggest is to get an eye dropper or such like and try letting him put it in his mouth. Also,
bathe him and drip water down his head so it does into his vents!
What are your temps like? and what
UVB bulb do you have please? =)
Most importantly, Don't panic ! We'll get him better !
