My beardie just pooped in his bath and there was pink in the white part of his poop i have a picture of it if you wanna see it. I'm worried and there were some red flakes in his brown part and i did give him red bell pepper but i thought it was a bit odd. Any ideas?

im guessing it was the pepper, but ive heard that female beardies have pink-ish urates when they are getting ready to lay. how old is your dragon?

Only about seven months or so and is a male confirmed from breeders. I also checked and he has clear two bumps near bottom base of tail.

It can even be in the white part? He has also been having diarrhea lately that's why I am extra worried.

It is possible - the red may have just... smeared. Or you know, like how asparagus makes our pee smell bad. If he has lots of diarrhea, you should get a fecal test done. What kind of greens are you feeding typically?

I was speaking to you separately about the diarrhea. But I just noticed this this morning in his bath. With what he ate just yesterday it was turnip greens, swiss chard, red pepper, carrot and green squash. Here's the picture sorry for the horrible phone quality.

He did it in the bath and then ran/swam trying to get out and pretty much separated the whole thing in the water. This it is after the water drained out.

The white part of the poo is called 'urate' :) My baby, also male, dragon had the same thing, and like you said that and separate diarrhea. He actually ate hardly anything for a few days whilst this was happening. I realized he was dehydrated, which was my fault :( as I clearly wasn't giving him enough. I don't know how much your dragon gets water, but maybe that's the same with yours? But, don't worry because I gave my beardie lots of water and he was fine and all better now ! Running around chasing crickets and thowing himself half way over the other end of his viv after locusts  and...the best of all he had an awesome poo today lol ! Hope this helps !

I thought it was called that but didn't want to call it the wrong thing and be an ***** haha. My beardie seems constantly dehydrated as well but I'm not sure what else I can do. I give him a bath every other day where I drip water on his nose to try to drink it (he usually doesn't) and I have a water bowl in his tank. How do you give your beardie water? This does help alot thank you so all you did to help your beardie was feed him more and give him more water? How did you get him to eat more?

Lol I know what ya mean  Well, maybe give him a bath everyday until he perks up. I had a water bowel in my beardies tank (big enough for him to sway around in the water) and when he was dehydrated he used it and loved it & it helped him toilet, however he only did that for a day so I took it out, also I found out that it can cause them respiratory problems because it creates humidity, so it's up to you as to whether you want to keep it in, but maybe best to take it out just in case :)

As for the feeding, I tried feeding him (putting crickets into his enclosure and greens) and he didn't care, he didn't even go after them! A lot of people say 'force feed' I say DONT, DONT, DONT!!! I have even heard a horror story of someone's beardie not eating, bloated etc and they force fed him & he died! If you think about it when were not well/have a bad tummy the last thing you'd want is to be force fed! If worst come to worse, pull the legs off the crickets and try them with that, they will eat if they want too. My beardie didn't eat for like 3 days, I couldn't make him eat either, I was just keeping him hydrated by bathing about 2/3 times a day if he'd have it, spraying him with water whilst he's in his enclosure, and I would spray him in so he'd go into his water bowel! ;) cause he was getting annoyed and wanted to get away lol.

I also brought some of the like repti-aid stuff which is like reptile engery drink thinking that would give him the kick he needed, however I didn't have too! I brought him some locusts after a few days and he LOVED it! he had worms and that too! and obv that gave him the energy he needed to start getting better. It did take all in all about a week to fully recover, and that wasn't without me panicking, but he is now on top form!

I give him water now by spraying him on the nose everyday, and he drinks it. I also bathe him at 2/3 day intervals. It's strange your beardie isn't drinking when it's put on his nose. What I would suggest is to get an eye dropper or such like and try letting him put it in his mouth. Also, bathe him and drip water down his head so it does into his vents! :)

What are your temps like? and what UVB bulb do you have please? =)

Most importantly, Don't panic ! We'll get him better ! :D

His temps are 100-105f in his basking spot and about 80-85f in his cool side and I use a repti-sun 10 tube. How does the repti-aid stuff help I thought that was for shedding? I am worried about spraying him because of the chance of infection. I have him like 45 minute bath last night because I was waiting for him to either drink some water or go to the bathroom (he usually goes in in bath) which he did neither of so he ended up winning the stand off and I just dried him off and put him back in his tank. Is it okay for the water to go into his vents? I wasn't sure if that would be like someone dripping water into our ears like it can go in there but it will just be annoying and uncomfortable. What are locusts and where do you get them? I feed him crickets, butter worms and phoenix worms. He really loves the worms but they are so much more expensive than crickets but I also know they have much more water than crickets so it would be very beneficial for him to have more hydrating worms. Thanks again for the help!

How old is he? and how old is the UVB light? Well my dragon loves the water dripping down his head & into his vents; they absorb water through them. If he found it annoying he'd move and shake his head or whatever, my dragon lets me know when I'm annoying him lol. Well it's like an energy drink for them, it's actually called Reptoboost. But he needs to drink it.

You have to spray him, that's probably why he's dehyrdrated, as long as you let some ventilation into the tank it's fine. You have never heard of Locusts? You get them anywhere there a typical live food for beardies, along side crickets. http://www.reptiles.swelluk.com/reptile-supplies/reptile-livefood-933/locusts-936.html you should get him some because there slower than crickets and it would be easier for him to catch while he's not well. Worms are ok, but should be used as a treat not as a staple diet really, as they are quite fattening, also it doesn't encourage the hunting behaviour.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
