Picky eater

My Zan was being a punk and decided she didn't like Dubia roaches after I already set up a colony. She isn't a fan of crickets either. I was getting nervous because she seems to be a slow grower. She is about 7 months and just under 10 inches.

Setup because I know it will be asked :)
She is in a 4x2x19 enclosure. She has a tile substrate, a reptisun t5 10.0 UVB light, and basking bulb. she has a great platform setup with plenty of space to run around.
Her humidity is around 35% (I have a digital hygrometer). Her basking spot is about 110 - 108 F. Her cold side doesn't get below 72 F during the day. My apartment stays at 68 F at night.

She is lazy when the light goes on so I do move her to her basking spot when I get up. During the day she zooms around and is pretty active. Later in the day we sometimes give her a bath to spunk her back up a bit. Once lights are out, she is out cold.

We had to resort to superworms. I really didn't want to but we only give her small ones and she wouldn't touch any thing else. She would take the occasional cricket. Once the worms are too big we feed them to the birds or give them to friends with bigger reptiles and chickens. I don't risk it. She eats up to around 10 bugs max a day. She does have poop and urates every single day religiously. She eats some of her salad every day. I mix it up between watercress, dandelion greens, string beans, green and red pepper, sweet potato, occasional carrots, squash, and whatever else is on the list form this site and in the house. We'll be growing a lot of her food this summer. She gets calcium 3x/week and her multivitamin 1x/week.

I spoke to the breeder about her eating habits and they weren't worried, though they asked that we let them know if she refuses food more than a couple of days in a row. They are really helpful and quick to respond.

My fiance was researching and we found somewhere that she may have over ate on dubias one day and didn't feel great so she refused them after that. We started to just throw 2 in her dish every day since I refused to give up. The other day Charlie hand fed her them and she ate them! Success! And unless one was hiding under the greens I had in the bug dish I think she ate one on her own this morning! (I put them in a porcelain dish before I go to work and my fiance takes them out later when he gets up. We give them greens don't dehydrate in the heat.)

So i'm hoping she will continue with them more and she can get more nutritious bugs in her to grow faster. *crosses fingers*

I'm going through a similar situation with my 6 month juvie. He was being treated for pin worms, and while taking his medication, his appetite for dubia never decreased. Right after he finished, I allowed him to eat supers, because he just hit 16''. But since then, he has been turning down everything besides butternut squash. I don't want to feed him solely supers, because they wont be beneficial during this crucial time of growth. During an entire week, he would only eat one or two dubia a day on his own. I've resorted to syringe feeding to try and recover his appetite (chicken baby food mixed with pedialtye and benebac). He eagerly sits there and laps it directly from the syringe. Something tells me this was his ultimate plan... to make me even more his slave :silent:

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
