So scorch was due for a bulb change again, and stupidly I decided to put her old 100W Powersun back in (this bulb gave her eye problems when she was little, I thought it might be okay if I kept it at a larger distance). WELL with the bulb set out at over a foot above her bask, she developed PKC AGAIN!
I'm planning on ordering her a new T-Rex when I get paid tonight.
Until then I heard it is best to keep her under a regular household bulb without UV so she can recover... but I'm pretty sure she is getting ready to lay her third clutch this season.
Would it be harmful if I deprive her of UV rays while she is developing eggs?
(sorry if this is under the wrong section. My vet is out of office for a few days and last time I posted in health I got no replies and I need a reply. Thank you)
