I just got my phoenix worms today, does anyone know why it says not to store in fridge? I live in southern California and it is still rather hot, it says to keep them either at room temperature 60 to 70, or longer storage at 50 to 60, but not in fridge. my house is between 75 to 80 degrees. Would it be worse to store in fridge or above 75 degrees? Thanks for the help 8)

it says on the box that its "too cold" LOL - I know that you can read too. But, I guess it just causes them to slow down their metabolism more than their bodies can handle and they die??

not much help, i know. But, maybe its a start.

My house stays around 75 degrees or a bit higher. I just leave my phoenix worms out. Some die, but I noticed as long as I keep the substrate they are in a bit on the drier side they last longer.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
