permethrin ant powder, risk to bd?

hello all

I know some people use permethrin based sprays for mites on reptiles, but i just wonderd what risk to reptiles from an ant powder containing permethrin as the active ingredient at 0.5% would be? also the inert ingredients arnt very good either apparently.

I have done a couple of days research online about permethrin and from what i have gatherd its really toxic for insects, cats, reptiles and amphibians.

My mother in her infinite wisdom decided to put ant powder on the kitchen floor as she has seen a couple of them marching through, although my BD mr.marv has not been running around in the kitchen im really concerned that i may have walked some upstairs stuck to my socks and in to my bedroom where marv runs around every day, i have vacumed up in my bedroom everyday since i found out about the ant powder but given its toxicity to reptiles, just wondering if BD licked the carpet (as he often dous) and it had a small small bit of ant powder there how much of a risk is that to him? any body with a chemistry background? lol
