Peponi and Frodo

Hello, I've been using this website for a year now, and I use to have a thread for Peponi but, life got in the way and it was locked.

Peponi is my 2 year old male bearded dragon. I got him just after Valentines day last year.

He's sleeping now. I gave him a bath earlier and he gave me a big poop after drinking for a while. The woman I adopted him from said he was kind of aggressive, but he hasn't shown any of that behavior with me. Not gaping, hissing or arching his back. I've only had since this morning though.

He didn't eat anything today, but he did bask. He was kind of unexpected so he doesn't have a uvb light yet, it'll be here in a couple of days.

Peponi and Frodo are doing well, their enclosures are near each other and Peponi keeps staring at him so I might have to put up a barrier between the two tanks.

Frodo has been getting daily baths and chicken and squash baby food because of his small size.
He also been doing this weird thing with his eye that I asked Tracie about.

Frodo is a cutie pie. It sounds like he is adjusting pretty well for you though if he is eating the chicken & squash baby food right now.
Is he basking a lot too?
He definitely could use some filling out but at his age, be sure to go slowly! Is he enjoying his baths also?

Hes doing good, he drinks a lot in his baths and all of his poops are well formed. I've been mixing the squash and chicken baby food together and hes been eating about a spoonful twice a day.

He literally basks all day long.

Peponi doesn't seem to like that hes here, he wont puff up or anything, but he'll stare at him and he seems to be mad at me. When I go near him he turns away from me and closes his eyes so he cant see me.

Oh no, Peponi is jealous, poor thing. They can get like that, so try to spend a little extra time with him.
Hopefully he will adjust soon.
How is Frodo doing today? Is his eye doing any better?

Frodo has some really intense spikes, too. Hope he's doing better.

They both are doing good. Frodo ate and drank really well for me and I let Peponi try celery today.

It was 70 degrees today, so I took Peponi outside for about a hour. I wanted to take Frodo too , but I've only had him for a couple of days and decided that that was a bad idea. His eye doesn't seem to be bothering him. I've also noticed that its only his right eye that rolls.

Great pictures.
It looks like Peponi is doing wonderfully. His colors are beautiful outdoors, too. I am sure he loved getting some sunshine, too.
Frodo is looking good, he is filling out some also. He has nice looking spikes. LOL I am glad that he is eating so well right now. It looks like he is on the road to recovery now.

Love, love, love the picture of Peponi sticking his head under his branch. His arm looks very relaxed. Was he sleeping like that? What a character.
Froto needs to go to a spike barber. :lol: What makes the spikes look so out of control? Is it a health thing, or just an individual thing, like some guys start growing hair in their ears as they get older. :shock:
Froto is looking a bit perkier in the latter pictures. Love seeing that.

Seriously love Frodos spikes haha keep coming back to this thread just too check them out, he looks like such a dragon, could even imagine smoke trailing from his nose :lol: :lol: and Peponi is very handsome, love his coloring !!! :mrgreen:
