Hey everyone,
I noticed yesterday that Cora's urates were pinkish and there were some partially digested supers in it also. So I called the vet about dropping a fecal off. I put her in the tub, fortunately she will poo in there. Got her fecal and got ready to go. This fecal as well had pinkish urates, partially digested supers and was green. I take her sample in to the vet. The lab tech that looked at her sample took FOREVER. I waited like 45 min for her to finish. The lady up front comes out and said that Cora needs to see the vet. I had to send her back in to see why. The lab tech said that she has parasites, but didn't say what kind.
Does anyone have any idea what type of parasites she could have?? Here is a short break down of whats going on. She is still very active, eating like a pig (turnip greens, squash, crickets, supers, phoenix worms, hornworms) supers and crickets are dusted. she is in shed, sleeping normal. No sighns of lethargy, no strange behavior whatsoever.
Her temps are fine, and everything else as well.
I am currently staying with my father until Ken and I close on our house, which thankfully will be tomorrow. I came home the other day from work and her cage top was off. Did she possibly eat a fly? I have to fight with him to keep the ac on so that the humidity stays low. I would say about 90% of the time it is on.
If anyone has any ideas i would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Erika
