Paper Towel hazards, geez

I can't believe, I was just feeding my daughters voracious female and she got the edge of the paper towel in her mouth with a cricket. She would not let go to save her life. I had to risk my finger tips and had her in a squeeze hold and ended up pulling 2" out of her mouth. Poor thing, I felt so bad. I use the soft Viva paper towels and I think a little tore off and was swallowed. Who would think paper towels! Cheryl

Yuck, that's scary! We just use the cheapey paper towels, but the SO tapes the edges down with masking tape to prevent hiding crickets. I am sure this prevents accidental nipping, but once he did nip at a tiny piece of lose tape. Needless to say, that piece was removed and retaped.
