Panicking about the height of lights.

So here is Stevies new enclosure https://prnt.sc/s6w1np I got few days ago.

Before he had smaller one with Arcadia T8 18" UVB mounted on the side with 3m tape to the glass with 7" from his basking spot. As I know T8 should be closer to the basking spot.

Now with new enclosures as you can see https://prnt.sc/s6w51i its much higher and I don't think it does anything and I'm panicking if I should go buy a T5 or make basking area higher. Or maybe just mount it again on the side of the glass?

if I do get T5 would it be good to mount it inside or above through the mesh? https://prnt.sc/s6w8gd

Also what would be perfect height for T8 and T5? From googling T8 should be 5" away from basking spot and T5 12" away from basking spot. Would mesh on top of the enclosure be an issue then and I would need to rise the basking area?

T8's need to be inside the tank approx 8-10 inches from basking decor--- T5's can be on top of screen but the decor piece needs to be 8-10 inches underneath -- if its inside the tank the distance should be 12-15 inches from decor piece --- No cover over the bulbs they need to be exposed --- did that help
