I brought home a new baby today. A baby leopard gecko who's tale had fallen off at the petstore I work at because he got caught under the carpet when someone was cleaning the tank.
He is so beautiful, and I'm nursing him back to health.
When I put him in his tank, directly across my room from Paarthurnax the jealous,
she continued to run back and forth across her tank, until I took her out, of course. Then she fell asleep on my chest. Once I gave her 30 crickets, she was happier with me.
Just thought this was so funny.

On another note, me and my boyfriend have another leopard gecko that stays at his house. (His name is Sky)
I went over there, and he was perched on his stick. No doubt waiting for some munchies from Mom.
He hadn't seen me in a few weeks. I picked him up, and I kid you not, he cuddles into my neck and fell asleep. I mean, every time I tried to put him back in his cage.. he would dart up my arm and back to my neck again.
He actually MISSED me. Isn't that crazy?
