Hey
So I have two bearded dragons that I've had since November. Athena is 7 months (she's only 39 grams because she was just diagnosed with Protozoa.) and the other, Calypso, is 6 months and is HUGE.
I bought two kits at the pet stores one is a 40 gallon and one is a 20 gallon. The 40 gallon is where Calypso is, currently I have 2 small heat lamps in there. There aren't names on them but I know the lights are 75 watts. One is blue and one is normal white. I have a 10.0 reptisun UV-A light in there too. The temps are 100. Athena is in the 20 gallon with a 10.0 reptisun UV-A light and a Exo Terra Sun Glo 150 watt. Her temps stay at 100 on the hot side too.
What can I change to make them feel better? Is that too cool for their basking side or is that okay?
Whats the difference between a blue light and a white light? Whats best?
I am just so confused. I though I could trust the lights in the kits but looking on here, maybe thats not the best choice.
I just want whats best for my babies.
Thank you!
