Outdoor enclosure

Looking at getting/making a large outdoor enclosure for our beardie Kirby.

Can beardies squeeze their body thin to escape?

Do you think that 1/2 inch spacing for the metal bars would be too wide?

My guy is almost 2 yrs old and 20 inches long.

Half inch wide would be fine unless the wire is flimsy or flexible . Other than that you're good.
