I wouldn't have any exposed wood it will get wet and rot, also that chip board is awful for slivers. Other that it looks awesome. Very well built its going to last forever

We're going to put plastic along the bottom of each enclosure (or paint it in some type of latex paint?? or something waterproof, I don't know, plastic might be better...) for the tiles to go over to protect the wood from poops, then we'll have probably a plastic background for now until we look into perhaps building one like a lot of people do, out of Styrofoam or something. The wood along the sides and the front are going to be covered in repti-carpet which we just bought today. We also don't provide a water dish and we never spray them in the enclosure, so do you think that should be fine? It's not wet/humid at all in their homes.

Sounds like you have it figured out! Just make sure it's sealed up and you don't use anything that will harm the animals.

They all look wonderful, love the daisys in Daisy's enclosure. that ws a great touch. And love all the sticks in all the enclosures of the babies so they can run around & climb & jump to their heart's content. Great stuff. Glad it's getting all done. Great job!

Thanks It's getting done slowly but surely...lol Main thing is just covering all the wood now!
Oh and the babies aren't climbing up the viv by the lights as much anymore either, now that they have lots of climbing spots! They are also closer to the UVB now with the sticks which may have been why they were going up there?

Do you happen to know of a good "sealant" or something that would be safe for my beardies?
Or what about a garbage bag (or something similar) under the tiles? Hmm...

This might sound like a silly question, but what do you use to clean the tiles? And is that a kind of sandpaper along the front?

I scrub them down with a scrub brush and a bleach solution, 1 part bleach 10 parts hot water then rinse rinse rinse! Umm no sand paper lol there are paper towels in front of the tiles (for now until we cut some to size) and in front of that is wood
