Hi my name is Anne Marie and my son was given a Chinese Water Dragon for this birthday last Nov. not by us but a family member. Unfortunetly, the little dragon passed away a few weeks ago. My son wanted another pet lizard, when I researched after getting the WD and found out that the water dragon was one of the hardest lizards to keep and there wasn't much on them I decided to go with a Bearded Dragon this time for my 10 year old son. So to make a long story short, we just bought a Bearded Dragon yesterday. He/She is about 5 inches from head to tail. We converted the 50 gallon Aquarium from a tropical to a desert viv. Changing all the bulbs and substrait. We have a ReptiSun 5.0 UVB/UVA Fluorescent combo bulb and a 100 watt basking spot light along with red night light. We keep the lights on for 12 hours and then them off putting the red night light on. We also have a bottom heating pad under the Aquarium.I also have an under the Aquarium heating pad. Remi has been eating very well so far, he's been eating romain and cale along with about 10 tiny crickets that we gut load on flukes cricket food.
I am very happy that I found this sight. And to be honest I think Remi Steel as I call him is more mine than my sons. Oh and Remi is only about 5 inches from head to tail.
