Hey, my dragon is in his basking spot, and he will occasionally just oven his mouth for a second, then close it. He can close it all the way. He doesn't want to drink, either.

His temp is 111-115 in the hottest spot.

He is gaping, It's his way of panting. It's easier for him to open his mouth and cool off a little than to move. It's normal and perfectly fine

He probably won't drink. Many don't drink from bowls, I've never seen mine do it in person. As long as he gets his fresh food and baths he should be good. He might drink in the bath.

Ok great! Whew, I was worried. Yes, he had a bath yesterday, nod he drank a little, but he didn't enjoy it. He has also been randomly scratching the glass. Not all the time, just sometimes.

Scratching the glass does happen. A lot when they are younger. You should try cover the back and sides with something. You can use anything from aquarium background to just paper towell or paper of any kind. This will make him feel more secure and also cut down on some of the scratching. He is seeing himself in it plus seeing the entire rest of your room in it and can't figure out how to get to i

I lost my 7 year old 2 years ago and he used to scratch the glass when he wanted to come out and chill

My beardie will be 4 years old this year, and he's never drank any liquid that wasn't forced down his throat (dewormer).

He'll scratch at his glass when he either wants to poop (he doesn't like pooping in his tank), or just wants to run around my apartment like a maniac, especially when his Spring fever hits.
