I built Ponce a little staircase to hang out on, as she had gotten too large for her grapevine. It's nice, but the tiles are too slippery. She can't climb them. Any ideas? Do you think if I sand the tiles a little that would do it?

Try anti-slip stair-tread tape. My beardies use it for climbing sloped things. Available in hardware stores like home depot or Lowes.....

Sanding might be an idea, or like a gravel or something if you need more grip. Umm maybe a coat of rock finish paint? Just an idea... I don't know what it's usually made of in terms of safety and you'd probably have to seal it with something but it might allow for more grip.
