I have a beardie, Eko, that is about 5 months old, he/she usually eats about 40-50 crickets a day and I noticed there has been some left over in her/his tank past couple days. I took them out and dusted them with calcium and my beardie ate them all... plus more, like he/she was starving. So I feed him/her again today and she didn't even go after the crickets... let them jump on her and walk around her. So I dusted them again and once again ate them all plus more I added that were dusted. She/he usually has a great appetite, call her my chunky monkey (because she is always eating everything, greens, crickets, some fruit)
I think Eko is a girl, she's been shedding alot so I'm wandering if it's that, we been giving her superworms (past five days), but not many and we haven't changed anything in her cage. She isn't having any issues, we've only had her for about 2 months.
***Forgot to note that when I put the dusted crickets in, she'll lick and nudge with her nose the calcium on her slate floor. She'll also scratch at it trying to get it off the slate***
Any help Eko and I would appreciate.... thanks in advance.
