Only eating baby supers and greens????

My Viv is 4/2/2 foot temps are ok and all is now right. I got some feeding tongs and put a cricket right in her eating view,and backs off but I put supers or meal worms or locusts she will stuff them. I know meal worms are bad but I can't get anything els and want to give her what she can get. Can any one tell me WTF is goin on I have tryed all sizes as well :-(

Martyn many beardies loose interest in crickets this is not unusual. Only one of my adult beardies will eat crickets the other 8 turn their noses up. Plus once you give supers they tend to want nothing else. With mine I have to give roaches and other feeders first and then offer the supers like a dessert. :wink:

Barbara is right! Once they eat supers they never want crickets again. I'm even having a hard time with roaches now! See what you've done now, lol

I can't get roaches where I am I'll ask but what size. she used to have med crickets should I get med roaches.

Ok she has had 9supers and 6 locasts and a fue green is she going to be ok eating like this

How big is she? Supers are a fine staple for adult dragons.

She is 11 months now I think Her Weight is 300G and 16" in lenth she eats them ok the bigist supers there are in a tub is about 2-3" max she ears them ok and loves them do you think that she will be ok.

She'll be fine, my dragon is 14" and eats supers daily. I do have to kinda watch how many he eats though since he is starting to get fat.

What's the Right sort of Weight is for dragons this size and what happens if they get to fat will it start problems. :lol: and my girl has had 11 supers this morning I think she is full lol what is the difrence between supers and crickets I know supers are worms etc etc but I mean like the protein and fiber etc etc lol

Note: supers are higher in Phosphorus, fat, and fiber than crickets.

I usually give my beardies about a dozen at a time rather than letting them eat as many as they want in a 15 minute period. Otherwise they would only eat supers and not touch their other feeders or salad.

K now gut loading what does that mean lol I put in bug food and calcium supplement( am I ment to be doing this to the worms) I give my girl as many as she can eat in a 10min time and 5 min after she eats loads of greens would you say that's ok she seems okish

That means it's basic nutritional value like before you feed them and suppliment them.
We have to gut load and suppliment the crickets to increase the calcium levels. Supers need to be gut loaded as well they are high in phosphorus so we dust these with calcium to level out the Ca ratio.

Ok well I have Komodo and it says calcium supplement with vitamin d3 what do I gut loads crickets wiv I use this and there own bug grub stuff is that ok or do I need more ???
