now I'm really confused. why would my beardie stop eating all feeders. today I got a wild hair up and fed him 2 of my huge adult dubias. well he took to those like white on rice. anyone else have this issue of theirs not wanting medium dubias and only adults?

Yes I'm having similar issues with my 11month old boy, few months back he stopped eating Phoenix worms, then stopped eating the normal sized crickets I was buying.

I'm now at a point where he will only eat large locusts (and the occasional super worm) that I would of previously been worried about impaction issues due to their size, but there all he'll take. He just looks at the smaller ones and either turns his head away or closes his eyes.
I'm not sure if it's just the size that bothers him or if he's too bored of the same food so iv just ordered some medium and large dubias to see how he takes to them.

My other issues are that he refuses to eat veg now as well and two weeks ago I moved house but this was happening before the move, maybe for the past three months iv been trying to deal with this behavior.
He hasn't lost weight though despite the picky eating.

My last dragon did the same thing. Once she ate a large one she wouldn't ever go back, refused. But can you blame them?! If someone gave me a Big Mac I'd never eat a kids meal again LOL

well my only question is what do I do now? my adults are my breeders. he won't bat an eye at anything other then my adults. turns his head to supers, crickets, just about everything.

Stack three small ones in a coat and make them pretend to be an adult

^^ sorry I couldn't resist! But you may just need to splurge and buy a big batch of adult/large nymphs until your colony can get bigger.

I mean my colony consists of 1/4" to 3/4" nymphs. I can't find anywhere online that sells anything bigger
