My Bella laid her first batch of eggs a few days ago. They are infertile. But she only laid 4! I never felt any in her abdomen, and don't feel any more now. I have given her some liquid calcium, and LOTS of feeders. Is it possible that she only developed 4 eggs or should I be worried??? :?
Check out the other posted as I responded to your question... But I won't worry to much so long as she has stopped pacing/digging, and is eating and appears healthy... I've had a female only lay 11 fertile eggs total two months ago, so a small egg count is not uncommon. But chances are she still has more eggs to pass, so keep an eye on her! If her attitude chances or she becomes slow/sad looking then she is egg bound and needs a Vets attention ASAP. Especially if she looking like she's trying to poop or pass an egg and nothing is coming out... I would never recommend this to anyone, but you have a few year of experience under your belt... If you can see the egg trying to pass, but is stuck, I would try gently tugging on it with a pair of tweezers... I've actually removed a fertile egg from Lola this year, but that was because I picked her up while she was laying her last egg, and it came right out!
Otherwise just wait and watch for signs of her being "constipated"...
