I haven't messed too much with ordering feeders online. I used to have them readily available as i was good friends with a manager for petco and she gave me crickets for 4 cents a piece. couldn't beat it.

Now i am looking at getting into online orders as i no longer have this option due to relocating. Just looking for a good reputable dealer for crickets and roaches.

Any help or thoughts would be great as their seems to be a ton of online retailers all claiming they have the best.

I'm interested to know some good online sources as well. I plan to feed crickets until I start my own dubia colony next year. Thanks in advance!

For dubia roaches, I used http://www.dubideli.com/Store.html and http://buydubiaroaches.com/. Dubi deli has pretty good prices and decent roaches while buydubiaroaches was a little more expensive but their roaches were fat, very well boxed in appropriate sized deli containers with screened and taped tops and out of the 3000ish I ordered from them, I had maybe 2-3 arrive dead. Both of those companies were quick on the delivery and easy to deal with. Only downside for me was dubi deli puts their roaches in little burlap sacks which are a pain to get the roaches out of.

As for crickets, I used http://www.ghann.com/. They were fast, well boxed and all the crickets arrived alive and stayed alive for a long time. I ordered 1000 little 3/8 inch guys and they lived and grew into 1 inch crickets and were healthy...but they are crickets so they are by default evil little things :p

All I can say is start the dubia colony asap. You won't regret it and it will save you tons of cash in the long run especially if you are feeding a baby beardie. Plus dubias actually aren't as creepy as like Red runners aka Turkistan roaches and look more like oversized pill bugs except the adult males but they aren't even that bad. Nothing like the greased lightning bright red alien looking Turkistan roaches.

I have not personally used the dubia's before but my buddy has a colony and i got some small ones from him and my baby seemed to really like them so he is going to help me get a colony started.

I tried reptiworms and phoenix worms but Torque doesn't have much interest if he can't chase it around. i wish i could figure out how to get him to take them.

Harley was mildly interested in Phoenix worms for about a month, then lost interest. Her comfort food is collard greens and dubia roaches. Those 2 things never go out of style with her.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
