What is the best/cheapest website to purchase crickets at? Im looking to get them delivered and am looking for a cheap, quick, reliable web site to do this at

when i bought from premiumcrickets liek a third of the ugly little chirpers were already dead... ghanns is better from my experience, albeit limited

LLL is ONLY reliable if you live within the state of California. It's the cheapest for a reason.

Fourthing Ghanns. Yeah, they cost a little more than LLL, but less than most, and they give a super overcount & the crickets are the healthiest I've seen, and I've used the majority of cricket suppliers.

So I checked out all those websites and there all real cheap but then Shipping is super expensive. I think thats a good method of your buying over a thousand crickets. I was buying 250, and I figured out its about 13 cents a crickets when petsmart is 11 cents a cricket. Is there anywhere cheaper?

The only advantage is they have pheonix worms which i couldnt find any store around me that had them.

if you buy in bulk you save money (ie 1000)
they arent that hard to keep alive

I'm as far from Ghann's as you can get, and even with shipping, I pay $0.02 a cricket for 1000.

Where do you live at? Maybe someone will know somewhere local cheaper or might be able to split shipping with you ?

I just got my first order from Premium Crickets, and I'm less than thrilled. I ordered 500 adult sized, and got a huge assortment of sizes. I know it's hard to get them exactly the same size, but there were some pretty small ones in there.

I made a cricket bin, put paper towel rolls, egg crates, cricket chow, leafy greens, and water crystals. I clean the bin every other day, and most have died. I have less than 100 left, and I've only fed my dragon about 50, so that means of my order of 500, 350 have died in a week. Unless I'm doing something wrong with my set up, I think it's the quality of the crickets. Now my super worms and Phoenix worms I got are all fine. I'm going to try Ghanns next time.
