Ollie and Babygirl!

Hey everyone, ive been off of the forums for a while. Some of you may remember me with Saphira's thread, although now we just call her Babygirl. She is still doing great, although shes not so happy about sharing a room with a ball python (seperate cage of course ).

However the reason for me coming back to the forums is that i just added another baby to the family! Me and Laurenee gave Tom from Tnd Dragons a visit and picked out an adorable little boy.

I would like to introduce Ollie!
He is a citrus leather back from Dozer and Georgia! [Hatched 12/15/10]
Right now he is pretty much all in shed except for his tail.

He got all tuckered out from running around the cage when we got home!

We let Babygirl have a quick look at her new brother, didnt take too long until both of them were puffing up lol

Well thats all for now, were gonna let Ollie settle in before we take more pictures

So, today was a long day at work for me. But that meant a good amount of time for Ollie to adjust to his new home without any distractions. But when i got home, it was feeding time!

If you look closely you can see an antenna sticking out the left side of his mouth lol.

He only ate a couple crickets, i think around 5 or 6, understandable since hes still unsure about everything. Tom informed me that he was not used to being fed in a separate tank, so i knew he was gonna be a little nervous. It was pretty funny watching him trying to decide whether or not to try and get out or go after the cricket that just ran in front of him.

Any way, back in the cage he went to do a little basking. Had a little trouble getting up to his hammock though lol.

I grabbed a couple of shots of Babygirl the other day, thought id let you all see how big shes gotten!

Bath time for the little girl: (still doesnt like baths that much lol)

This one was her sleeping when i got home, just cracked me up when i saw her like that, of course she utterly destroyed the viv while i was out.

I Decided to change the paper towels over to carpet so she couldnt tear it up anymore. and of course after i do that and clean out the whole tank, she decided to leave me giant present, but ill save you from seeing that picture lol.

Ok that is all for now, Still have to remember to get some pictures of Ollie and Babygirl's viv's. Thatll be for another day though!

Haha, aren't they adorable when they are shedding! His legs were shedding this morning, and all i kept thinking was, "I sure do hope his back is shed when i get home." And what do you know, when i got home from work i saw this from across the room!

After i gently helped him remove all that skin, i let him eat some crickets and filled up his dish with some mustard greens and placed him right on the dish.

And a couple seconds later....

nom nom nom

and unfortunatly an hour and half later, it was lights out for the little guy. I sure do hate it when the lights go out, means i have to wait 9 hours before i get to see him again .

Well since the lights are out in both the cages, i geuss its time for me to go to bed as well.

So ive been thinking the past couple days that Babygirl is most likely stressing Ollie out quite a bit. Hes been having pretty dark stress marks, and babygirl would spend her day glass dancing trying to get at him. So today i moved Ollie to a corner behind my bed thats out of view of Babygirls cage.

These are the results!

I also got my order of reptiworms in the mail today, At first Ollie didnt want to have anything to do with the bowl of worms when i put them in the cage, but a couple minutes later he was attacking them like a beast lol.
(dont mind the poop lol)

Thanks! that picture cracked me up after i took it! The orange markings were the things that drew me too him. I just absolutely love colorful dragons.

I think Ollies stress from Babygirl is completely over. At first he was only eating about 5-10 crickets per feeding when he could see her. Today however was a different story. When i got back from class i put 40 worms in his bowl, he ate 17 right then and there, when i got back from work the rest of them were gone. Then i put another 25 in the bowl, and he gobbled those up pretty quick. There was also a large chunk of salad missing lol. I am so glad i ordered 500 worms...might have to go for the 1000 next time though lol.
