Ok to pick shedding skin?

Hey, I was wondering if it is "safe" to pick the shedding skin from Brutus. Should I wait for it to slough off, or is it alright for me to pull at it? There's a big piece on his back that I am fighting the urge to just pull it off. :mrgreen:

You can use a soft bristle tooth brush while in the bath to gently remove, but if it resists, leave be !

You PULLING that skin would be just like pulling skin off of a human from a sunburn that isn't dried out yet and willing to let go!! OUCH!! Or you pulling skin on a hang nail!! Soak and Rub, never PULL!!

hehe oh goodness no never pick.
Besides this hurting your dragon you can badly damage the scales underneath.

Ruben doesnt even like me touching any part of him when he's in shed. He's usually a happy little tiger but come shedding time he is a tailwhipping monster!

Lots of nice warm baths and gentle rubbing can help ease off a shed. Never pick or peal him no matter how itchy he seems.
