My bearded dragon escaped his cage today, which is 3 1/2 feet off the ground.... I can't find him anywhere....

He is probably curled up somewhere sleeping. They also like to climb, so remember to look in higher places, too. I imagine he'll turn up soon.

Leave out a rock and a heat lamp above it, also leave out a bowl of greens.

What ever you do, don't get a replacement dragon. He will turn up alive. Try to leave some greens or your cricket bin out. I also recommend changing the name of the topic to "Lost my Beardie"

I hope you find him soon. What room is he housed in? If he's housed in your room, check all his familiar exploration spots, spaces where he can hide, and don't panic. He'll turn up sooner or later. Do leave something in case he wants to eat. I've temporarily lost Melody when she decides to leave her pillow. She'll be either under the bed or in a place where she thinks she can find a place to hide and make me worry. Check everywhere. He's exploring places.

I think he thought she found him dead, but I don't think that's the case. Just cold from being outside the tank. That's right, isn't it, OP?

I took it as meaning he was just cold, and i'm guessing he was fine once he started basking...at least i hope that's what happened
