I have a bearded dragon about 3 years old. This is my 3rd time breeding her and i have never had complications. She laid 1 egg 2 days ago and she also pooped at the same time. Then there was no more eggs but i could clearly feel and see them in her. I figured that she would lay them that night but no. It has been 2 days and again she pooped and a egg came out with it. She will not lay eggs unless she has a bowl movement????? Is she eggbound????? Please help and i have tried everything to keep her calm and relaxed. I have breed 5 times now with 2 different bearded dragons and this has never happened to me????? Why is she only laying eggs when she has a bowl movement????? Thanks!

interesting... never happened to me and I have bred for about 5 years with 2 different females.
try soaking her in water for a bit and then putting her in her lay box... and make sure that she is comfortable in the lay box...sometimes my females just act fussy if they are not satisfied with the lay box. I have had to cover it with sheets before to give them their privacy and then they will lay the eggs. if this doesnt work then Im not for sure whats going on....but I think if she is bound, then no eggs would be coming out at all??
are the 2 eggs that have came out fertile?

I have done everything! I have given her the privacy that she needs and still nothing, i have soaked her multiple times. The first egg she laid she almost laid it in my hand.... kinda gross but anyways i put her in the lay box and nothing.... I was sure that she was going to lay the rest of the eggs that night but nope. I wasn't that worried that she didn't lay the rest of them but then last night still nothing and i woke up and i look and she pooped and laid another egg. The eggs look fertile. Veins and everything so i don't understand why this is happening???? I'm so confused because this has never happened and she looks so uncomfortable. She stopped eating which i am getting really worried about because normally she has a great appetite but i don't think that not eating for a day or so is really going to hurt her.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
